Georgetown Township Library History Room
The Local History Room is a great place to visit and learn about Georgetown Township -- when it was first developed, what it used to look like and how it has grown, including information about the people, schools, churches, organizations, and businesses. Available in the History Room are files, books, genealogies, slide shows, and maps full of information and pictures.
The Room is managed by members of the Jenison Historical Association, who staff the room Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and also by appointment. Visit us to talk about township history and ask questions.
The room is located in the lower level of the Georgetown Library and Township building. To reach the room from the main library entrance, head left past the coffee area and take the stairs to the lower level. An elevator is located in the Township offices which will take you to the lower level as well.
